ALL TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT'S INCLUDING VIDEO CONSULTATIONS ARE WITH THE DOCTOR/NURSE - THEY WILL THEN DECIDE IF THEY NEEDS TO EXAMINE YOU AND ASK YOU TO COME DOWN AT A SPECIFIC TIME. If you feel you need to be seen, the doctor will decide after speaking to you. Please do not blame the receptionist, who is acting on the doctor's instructions, we have a zero tolerance policy in regards to abusive patients, and this will not be tolerated.
PLEASE DO NOT COME DOWN TO THE SURGERY UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO SO.
THIS IS RUNNING AS NORMAL FROM 09:00 - 12:00PM
Consultations are by appointment and can be made in person, over the telephone and online.
If you wish to have a telephone consultation, please telephone the surgery on 0161 493 9493 and leave your name, telephone number and a few details of what the problem is and the doctor will call you back.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
If you have any concerns about your medication, Sue our practice pharmacist is here to help - please telephone the surgery and ask for a call back from her - Please remember, if the pharmacy are ordering too much medication for you, please telephone and let Sue know and she will contact the pharmacy in question - Please do not stockpile medication, this is costing the NHS millions of pounds a year, if you do not need it, please inform the pharmacy of what medication you require.
